Absolutely. Mixing colors is one of the most common ways to personalize a keyboard. A popular approach is using one color for the alphanumeric keys and a contrasting or complementary color for the modifiers. It depends on how they're made. Yuzu uses dye-sublimation on PBT plastic, which bonds the dye at a molecular level — the color becomes part of the keycap rather than sitting on its surface. Dye-sublimated PBT keycaps are highly resistant to fading, shine, and wear, even with years of daily use.

Lighter base colors — white, cream, light gray, pastel shades — allow the most RGB light to diffuse through the legends and around the keycap edges. Darker colors absorb more light and produce a more subtle glow. If RGB visibility is a priority, lean toward lighter color families. Note that Yuzu's dye-sublimated PBT keycaps are not shine-through, so the RGB effect shows around the keycap rather than through the legend.

Any keyboard with standard MX-compatible switches accepts aftermarket keycaps, including all of Yuzu's custom sets. This covers the vast majority of mechanical keyboards on the market. The only exceptions are keyboards with proprietary switch stems (such as some laptop-style low-profile boards or Topre-based keyboards), which require manufacturer-specific caps.
